Rachele made her debut with Virginia Opera this season and praised universally for her portrayal of Lucia in Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, with the Richmond Times exclaiming she “delivered the performance of the season” in one of her signature roles.
Rachele added another one of Verdi's ingenues to her repertoire this winter, taking on the magical role of Nanetta in Falstaff with Opera Omaha. The Omaha World Herald praised her performance, writing she “was enchanting as the ingénue Nannetta.”
Rachele starred in an innovative new staged production of The Creation with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra directed by Sam Helfrich. The Pittsburgh Gazette writes, "Ms. Gilmore’s voice was exquisite" in her debut with at Heinz Hall with Maestro Manfred Honeck conducting a "superb" performance.
In her first commercially released recording, Rachele sings Blondchen in a live performance of Die Entführung aus dem Serail from Théâtre des Champs Élysées in 2015 with Maestro Jérémie Rhorer conducting Le Circle d'Harmonie Orchestra.
Rachele returned to the Los Angeles Philharmonic in the fall to take part in their Opening Night Gala, Immortal Beethoven, led by Music Director, Gustavo Dudamel. She joined Academy Award Winning actor Christoph Waltz in a thrilling performance of Beethoven's Egmont.
