Always Forward

I hope everyone is coming into this fall with a renewed sense of hope as we all try to navigate our way out of the last 20 months. No matter what your circumstances are, this pandemic has been emotionally exhausting on all of us. I want to just take a moment to send a gigantic virtual hug out to anyone who may be reading this, and assure you (and myself frankly) that there are better days ahead.

To be honest, I have struggled mightily over the last almost 2 years. I am a private person and quite introverted by nature, so I have not shared too much of my journey through this difficult period. Let’s just say that I went way deep into growing a garden, and even started a food blog to give some outlet to my creative nature. Also, my three cats got a bit more attention than they initially bargained for! While I found some wonderful hobbies and outlets, they are not who I am first and foremost, a singer.

I have had so many incredible experiences throughout my career, to which I am so grateful. I have worked with some of the greatest singers, musicians, conductors, directors, artists and teachers of our time. I know this is a great gift, and I want to begin to pass along this knowledge.

This is all to say, that I am now offering private voice lessons and I would love to share in the journey of the next generation of singers who we so desperately need to carry on this larger than life art form. Whatever classical music and opera become in their next iteration, one thing I know for sure is that we will always need exceptional singers.

Of course, I am delighted to continue my performing career as well, and have some wonderful projects coming up on the schedule. I look forward to seeing you all soon in a performance hall, rehearsal room, or even in a private voice lesson soon!

My sincerest gratitude and love to you all!

Rachele
